From the crack of dawn, households across Maharashtra prepare for Ram Navami with sacred enthusiasm. Entrances of homes are scrubbed clean, framed with vibrant torans of fresh marigolds and mango leaves, and adorned with elaborate Rangoli patterns created using bright natural powders.
