Why We Built This
As tech developers from Maharashtra, we noticed a recurring issue: finding a clean, fast, and completely accurate digital Marathi calendar was surprisingly difficult. Most online calendars are cluttered with ads, slow on mobile, or simply copy-paste data without checking local variations.
We launched Marathi Calendar in early 2026 to solve this. Our goal is to make traditional Shaka Samvat Panchang details, daily Tithis, and Maharashtrian festival dates easily accessible to anyone on a clean, modern interface.

Our daily Panchang metrics are computed using astronomical formulations for the sun and moon's positions, configured for Maharashtra coordinates (IST). To ensure absolute accuracy, we manually cross-check these values against standard regional almanacs before publishing.

Every festival story, historical explanation, and ritual guide on this site is written by native Marathi writers. We avoid generic, AI-generated filler text to ensure the cultural tone stays genuine, respectful, and reflective of how our families actually celebrate.
